Flying Frogs – Dance for Kids

Moving and playing we will enjoy dancing.

With our imagination, we will discover magical corners around us.

I propose a space for artistic and creative practice through movement, which motivates children to find their own way of moving.
It is a program of creation and exploration through the body and movement.
It is made up of several monographic courses. In each workshop we will work on different aspects related to the body and its environment, combining various disciplines.

Creative Dance

Children need to move in order to think, learn and create.
Through playing, the child is encouraged to find their own resources, its possibilities and limits and gain confidence.
These classes are aimed at children aged between 3 and 10 years.
At a general level, we will work: Exercises rhythm, concentration, coordination, directed movement, improvisation, space awareness, body memory, Choreography and Relaxation.

Those classes are build up from warm-up exercises, which develop to more complex movement phrases, alternating improvisation and choreography.

Sudansa

SUDANSA is a educational project through dance that takes place in primary schools in Catalonia.
The philosophy behind this proposal is to enable the confrontation with an artistic and cultural diversity, a diversity of expression, authors, proposals.

Training and knowledge of dance through the encounter. Meeting public (students, teachers, parents, general public)

with the works and their creative processes,

authors (choreographers, composers)

the mainstreaming of the choreographic, literary, musical, pictorial

with professional practices.

Helena Lizari is part of the team since 2008.
